Shopping Time

Published by TeacherSha on

Shopping is another children’s favorite kind of pretend play. It’s great to have “real” things like cereal boxes, milk cartons or ice cream container, with toys such as fruits and pastries at “the store” to make it more realistic for the children.

According to the website of Team Kids Australia, using imagination in play helps foster creativity in many ways. Children create stories around characters they become and extend on the plot they have created together, working out problems that arise along the way.
