In The Cafe

Published by TeacherSha on

Children love pretend play, imagining themselves as grown up. Let the children play in a pretend cafe. Children can take turns becoming a waiter/waitress and customers.

Research shows that children who engage in imaginative play express more emotional engagement, thoughtfulness and understanding, and less negative emotional expression such as selfishness and anger, and score higher on tests of emotional regulation and understanding (https://www.telegraph.co.uk/lifestyle/family-time/imaginative-play-benefits/)
