I Spy With My Binoculars

Published by TeacherSha on

Playing “I Spy” helps children learn vocabulary and phonics. According to British Council, “I Spy” is a fun game for practising English vocabulary (https://learnenglishkids.britishcouncil.org/top-tips/play-i-spy) Traditionally it was played with a person asking the other people to find objects around them that begin a selected letter by saying, “I spy with my with my little eye something beginning with A”. Why not we upgrade the game by including a pairs of “binoculars” to make the game more interesting.

How to make Binoculars:

– Empty toilet rolls
– Tape
– Pipe cleaner

1. Put two empty rolls side by side and tape them together.
2. Make a hole on each side of the rolls; insert a pipe cleaner and tie.
3. Play I Spy by saying “I spy with my binoculars something beginning with A” or any other alphabet.
