Feel The Colours

Published by TeacherSha on

Painting with hand let the children experience the sense of touch in a fun way. It is mesmerizing to be able to transfer drops of colours using finger and hand and paint it on a paper and see how colour change when they are mixed.

The process of finger painting soothes young children. As stated in the website of Bing Nursery School of the Stanford University, the pleasant feeling of painting with hands and exploring different textures and mark-making skills is fun, creative, and helps to develop both physical and social skills (https://bingschool.stanford.edu/news/sensory-exploration-paint-twos)

To do this activity, prepare some tempura paint, container to put the paint into and drawing paper and of course, a pair of children hands.
