Pick The Pompom
Children love playing Pick The Pompom game using small plastic tweezers. This game is great at helping to develop children’s fine motor skills.
On their website, the Education Department Of The Victoria State Government Fine stated that fine motor can be developed through experiences involving materials that support building strength in the arms, hands and fingers. (https://www.education.vic.gov.au/childhood/professionals/learning/ecliteracy/emergentliteracy/Pages/finemoto.aspx#link98).
To play the game, prepare plastic tweezers, a few pompoms and containers for the children to pick the pompom from a container to the other. You can also use different coloured containers and ask the child to put the pompom which matches the colour of the container, inside.
