Fishing game aids in children’s physical development as they develop hand-eye coordination, visual perception and fine motor skills.
To play the game, first make some fishes. Draw, cut out and colour several fishes from thick paper or card board. Glue googly eyes and pin small safety pin as the fish mouth. Then make the fishing rod by tying a string of about 45 cm to the end of a stick (chopsticks are great) of about 25 cm long. At the loose end of the string, attach a paper clip that had been bent to look like a fish hook. Scatter those fishes inside a hoop or a shallow container or box and let the children fish out the fishes.
