Cone & Ring Games

Published by admin on

Cone & Ring games help with the development of gross motor skill and hands eye coordination. According to Joyce Hemphill in her book “The Power of Playful Learning: The Green Edition”, playing ring toss utilizes estimation, gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, healthy competition (group play), prediction, strategy development, summation and turn taking (group play).

You can either buy the Cone & Ring set at toy shops or create your own using plastic water bottles as the “cone” and cut out cardboards into ring shapes. To play the game, either match the rings with the same colour cones, or simply tossing rings into the cones. Both games provide hours of fun that benefit the children.
